Bring your Platinum card, but be prepared to have one of the best Italian dining experiences in the U S. The cuisine has some strong French influence which we loved.

The bar staff was very helpful and friendly and gave very good advice about the menu and the wine pairing. The Agnolotti was really superb. The experience I had in this restaurant was rather that of a Two Star Michelin restaurant than of a one star Michelin.
The four course prix fixe menu proved to be great value, as from my Belgian view, the food was definitely worth its price (not expensive).
Very impressed, and many thanks to the excellent staff.

We were staying at the hotel, so we had the opportunity to have both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant.

Breakfast was excellent, especially the poached eggs. They get them just right.

Dinner was a highlight and one of the best meals we have had in NYC. The restaurant is "Italian" but not what you'd expect for traditional Italian. The menu is in Italian, they do have some pasta dishes, but also quite a bit of seafood cooked more as you'd expect in a fine American or French restaurant. We especially liked the scallops and Vellutata (lobster soup)!

I don't know exactly how to classify them but definitely try them out.

The food, the service, the ambiance are all worth the visit. Just don't forget a drink or two to before the check!
