I had no idea that such a great place existed in Manhattan! The owner was very knowledgeable of the area, and provided a very filling and nutritious breakfast to get your day started! Located near the heart of Soho, and within walking distance of downtown Manhattan, this is perfect for the avid sightseer on foot. Not a big walking tourist? Not far from the Inn are subway stations for the red and blue subway lines, which conveniently take you both uptown and downtown in no time. I highly recommend the Canal Park Inn as the service, quality and location all provide for a memorable trip to NYC.

(Behind a renovation wall on the top floor of the building is hidden a mural painted by children at a particularly creative third birthday party.) The beds and several end tables in the Inn were built by Kipp Osborne, coming from the days when he and his wife, Margot, were furniture makers in Soho and Tribeca. ... more less
