“Average but not bad”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

It will be a place to visit if you haven't been there, just for an experience, but I have had better mussels around the world so will put as average. However, the service is really good and all staff are friendly, so still enjoyed it.

“Awesome selection of mussels and oysters”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

Cosy little restaurant and bar in West greenwich. Great cocktails and every type of oyster and mussel from both coasts of America. Knowledgeable staff and pleasant ambience. If you wish to preview oyster and mussel types before you go to the restaurant vist the fish outlet in chelsea market first.

“Excellent place”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

It is an excellent place to eat mussels in NYC, European style. There are several recipes of Mussels, a lot of variety and very tasty. The service is very good, very kind attendants. Recommended 100%

“Great, Horrible Service”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

This was my first visit, will be back. Food was awesome, a lot of variety. Add-ins on the pots was also great (in addition to the mussels). Full bar and atmosphere was comfortable, not too loud. Server was horrific however. Had to seek him out a couple times and had a horrible attitude. We all agreed that it felt like he was disgusted with any request or question we had.

“Don't forget to get the donuts”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

Flex showed some real muscle with their wonderful sweet and tasty Mussels. We started out with an awesome Fish Taco which came as a pair, so it was easily shared. We ordered two orders of Mussels: The Parma and Dijon. The Parma rocked and the Dijon was very good. A side of fries was adequate to share.

My advice is to save some room for one of the best desserts i have ever had. DONUTS. Yes freshly made donuts. Be sure to try the Salty Caramel which was to die for.

The Maitre Di and wait staff could not have been any nicer or more professional.
