We started with a bit of a walking tour through the area, and our tour guide Carolyn was so knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us all time to look and take photos and ask questions. We stopped at a church for a couple hours- which was WONDERFUL. The music and preaching were fantastic. The congregation was very welcoming. I was concerned at coming to their service as a "spectator" on a tour, but was welcomed to participate and join in. Then we went to a great brunch. That was the only downside. The food WAS wonderful, but I was hoping for a bit more of a soul food lunch (or something that the area is known for) but it was traditional brunch food. The food was great, we just had something else in mind, I suppose. Overall, I would do this again for sure.
