Love the urchin special, the inventive desserts and graciousness of the staff, including the chef. And check in on Four Square for a free glass of vino.

Had to ask the waiter for our check 4 times. He was too busy trying to pick up the girls at the table next to ours that he was flirting and doing shots with them. Otherwise it was great!

After exploring the City all day, just wanted a nice meal with good wine. Came across Asellina, no reservations required!! Spaghetti was not memorable. The cured meat was great. The olives stuffed with veal were unique and delicious. The Papperdalle was fantastic!! Huge portion that could not be finished. Service was perfect. Background music was a bit loud. Would go back.

I went there for a business lunch, and ordered the salmon salad. The pin cushion of fish, which arrived perched on a bed mixed greens, was unevenly cooked and bland. It seemed like the restaurant was more focused on presentation than flavor. It was not the best impression.

Five ravioli and a side of broccoli rabe for $50?? Just can't handle the price.
