“excellent pastry”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2013

This bakery could be in Little Italy, but instead it near NYU in Greenwich Village. The pastry and coffee were out of this world. The baba rhum was excellent, not too much rum, but not dry. the cappuccinos were also great. The only reason i am not giving it a 5 is that it took forever to get service at 8:30 at night. After waiting on line (and being passed over 2 by the gentlemen behind the counter) I was told (somewhat rudely) that there was table service, where my 2 companions had been sitting for 10 min. It then took another 15 min for our coffee to come. Not cool.

“Best cannolis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012 via mobile

As a ny-er this is my family's go to spot for cannolis and assorted other pastries. We love to grab a pastry to go and eat in washington square park and people watch or listen to the musicians who play there... Quite a cheap and enjoyable afternoon or evenings recreation. :D

“One of my favorite bakeries in NYC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2012

Yummy place for great pastry, but also a fabulous place to hang out and people watch late on a Saturday night. Service occasionally sucks. You have to be a little aggressive.

“Excellent quality, maybe the best in NYC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2012

Always a pleasure to stop by here. We stopped by last weekend and the pastries are were as good as ever. We got a gingerbread cookie, a cassata, and some cafe au lait's and everything was awesome. The cassata was so good, we bough a few to have in the coming days, though they lasted all of 4 hours before we devoured them both. Top notch bakery/cafe.

Tasty treats after a dinner out. We ate both gelato and baked gods. Yummy and not expensive.
