“Great choice we'd make again”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

Just a brief one night stay at the Court at St Giles, but everything about it was pleasantly positive. From the moment of arrival and check in, the service was prompt, attentive and professional but not stuffy. We received an immediate upgrade without request and the room was very large, clean and comfortable, I particularly liked the walk in closet with dresser, safe and ample room to set up ironing board. Separate refreshment ell cove with stocked fridge and extras, full length mirror, large screen tv, waterfall shower head, and extremely comfortable mattress and bedding. Valet parking was a little steep at $50, abut only required ten minute notice for retrieval and best of all the hotel is only about two blocks from Grand Central station so walking from the train is a snap. Pricing was very good for NY city and a real bargain with the upgrade. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Had read corner rooms were largest, but our deluxe King was very good size and one room off the corn...

Booked The Court 8 months in advance...was not disappointed in our early choice. Check-in was very easy - staff every cordial and professional. The rooms were very large and clean. There were minor issues - shower faucet did not shut off easily, no robes (staff remedied), but otherwise very nice accomodations. The in-room refrigerator was stocked with a variety of drinks and snacks...very high costs. The location of the hotel was excellent - short walking distances to subway, Grand Central, and other attractions. New York is noisy - and you need to unstand that just about anywhere you stay you'll have street noise, sirens, and construction - this was true at The Court - but it's all part of the experience. We did not use the lounge or the restaurant in the hotel - though they were nicely situated and available. The staff dealt with any question or isse with courtesy and promptness. All in our party were very satisfied.

We stayed here at The Tuscany November 9-12. Pros: Quiet location, hotel has been renovated and rooms are spacious and clean. Cons: We had some trouble getting TV to work, and then the movie we ordered stopped playing. Pros: Staff was helpful and quickly fixed everything. Cons: It was hard to get a cab - doorman was often missing. And on departure front desk argued with me that I hadn't prepaid the daily breakfast even though my confirmation showed I had. It eventually got resolved but she was quite insistent and refused to acknowledge that my confirmation was right until someone on the phone confirmed it. An unpleasant end to an otherwise nice stay.

Room Tip: Ask for the Executive Suite.

The very nice clerk upgraded us at check in and we thought we might get a few extra feet but what we got was a beautiful apartment with a balcony! The room was gorgeous. The balcony had a view of the Chrysler building. It was amazing. The staff could not have been nicer. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else.

1. location - awesome! walking distance to Time Square, 5th avenue, theatre district.
2. comfort - very spacious rooms, recently renovated with taste. Very clean. Super comfortable king size beds.
3. price - hotels I've stayed at in this price range in NYC did not even come close!
4. service - Daniel at the front desk did a great job.
Overall a great experience! Our second stay and not the last!

Room Tip: nice view - Chrysler building or Empire state building

Pros-nice and close to Times Square. About a 20 min walk.Front Staff and doormen very very friendly.there is a bar named Park Avenue Tavern just up the street that was great and always very busy. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. We could see the Empire State Building from our room.
Cons-absolutely no info about the hotel in the room. Couldn't find any ice machines or vending machines. No phone book.
Last morning we were evacuated because someone pulled the fire alarm. There was an altercation right outside our room between a man and a woman and one of them pulled the fire alarm. Very disturbing.
Their sister hotel "the Tuscany is just right beside it and as we were leaving we spoke to the door man and he made the comment that nothing ever happens here but every weekend something is going on there. Sooooo. Would we return,,,probably not

Room Tip: We had a room on the 9th floor and was very quiet and peaceful prior to leaving.Air conditioner nois...

This hotel is in a great location, only a 20 min walk from times square. It was very clean and very comfortable furniture. The fact that they don't serve breakfast is not a problem, just down stairs and across the road is Scotty's diner where you can get a great breakfast for really cheap. The only negative was the noise of the streets. But that is hard to avoid in downtown New York.
