From the moment we arrived ,with the doorman opening the door, to the service on the desk by Sarah in particular and being shown to our very nice room ,everything was perfect. The position of the "Court" on the corner of 39th & Lexington and only 2 blocks from Central station also handy to cafes, delis, restaurants and bars suited us personally. The desk staff were great organizing best times etc.for Empire State and Ellis Island tours in particular. The room was clean and well serviced in the 10 days we stayed there and we will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: View to the Chrysler Building was great

My son and I stayed here for 5 nights while he was on business and I was catching up with him (and broadway, etc.). We had an oversized room-- even by non-New York standards-- with all the little touches of a boutique hotel: awesome, comfortable beds and pillows, great and helpful staff, including Maritza who works the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is great if included in your stay, otherwise too expensive, redundant and not enough protein choices. This hotel is also wonderfully located for transfers to Grand Central station (and to take bus to LaGuardia or Newark airports) as well as close to Broadway, Macy's and subway. Only negative: high-speed internet not included.

Got a great deal on quikbook who listed this as a luxury property. Not! Hallways very dark and the air conditioner was so noisy that we changed rooms at 1:30 a.m! Service was great and they were very nice but this hotel is a bit schizophrenic - fairly modern with nice linens but the heater in the bathroom was hanging off the wall, the light switches had been painted over and the room was very dark, despite two windows in what they called the "executive corner suite".

We recently stayed at the Court for 4 nights. We had a really nice contemporary room at the street side on the 10th floor. It was bigger than I had expected it to be, according to NYC standards. The room was clean and there were really comfy beds! There was a little bathroom with a toilet, a sink and a shower in the bathtub. I would have appreciated a seperate toilet and some more storage in the bathroom. Towels were replaced daily and there were plenty of them. There was a safe-deposit box and a minibar where we stored some drinks of our own, after we discovered that a bottle of Fiji-water cost us over $7! The airconditioning worked really well. We could hear the traffic on the streets, but hey, well we were in NYC, the city that never sleeps...
The staff were really friendly. We asked them for some recommendations for a good steakhouse in the neighborhood. They recommended 'Benjamin Steakhouse' and they were happy to make a reservation for us. They also advised us taking the Newark/Manhattan bus (at 41st St) to go to the airport instead of a shuttle bus. This bus comes every 15 minutes and costs $15 for a single ride. Good advise!
There is a bar at the 1st floor next to the lobby, with a pool table. We unfortunately did not get to see much of it, as we were to tired from exploring the city the whole day!
One morning we had breakfast at Audrey's, which is only a few steps from the hotel, in 39th St. It sits actually in the hotel next door The Tuscany. You can take want you want, buffetstyle. The food was great. You can put the check on your hotel room, even if you stay in The Court.
Overall a great experience! We would stay there again!

The hotel is very clean and the from desk day staff is great! They upgraded me from a standard to a one bedroom suite for my birthday! The suite has a private step out balcony with a table and two chairs - very romantic! The bed is SO COMFY and clean! NO BEDBUGS - I always check thoroughly! The AC blows strong cold air and there is an iPhone/iPod hookup in the room for louder speakers. The bathroom did not have a fan NPR could I open the windows so it does get steamy quick!

It's kind of hard to hail a cab because of it's proximity to Grand Central Station but walking up a few blocks helps. Nice convenient store on the corner, and the view at night of stars mingling with the skyscrapers makes for a great romantic evening while drinking chilled wine with your love!

I will be back here, definitely!
