We have 4 great night here, easy to reach from subway or even walk.
Many theatre surrounding the area. We stay at 22nd floor that give us wonderful view to the city.
Many restaurant such burger, pizza, etc. Row not just in the middle of theatre district but closed to another attraction like madame Tussaud, ripley's, or Discovery plaza. One block away from M & M biggest chocolate store in New York.

Room Tip: Always ask for high floor.

We came to New York to see a show, so we decided on the RowNYC because its location. We only needed a room for one night, and since the rooms weren't that expensive, we selected a 'Deluxe City View' Room w/ 2 Full Beds. Check in was awesome - Shantelle was amazing!

You can tell this hotel relies on first impression. Everything appears hip and clean... but on closer inspection, the first impression begins to fall apart.

The Room:
Like I said before, we selected a nicer room and it ended up being a nice size for a NYC hotel. The bathroom was on the small side, but still big enough to be convenient. Then we started noticing things; the dust bunnies in the corner, the "bath fitter" bath tub, the old used rubber cleaning glove behind our drawers...

The Cleaning Staff:
The cleaning staff had no respect for the privacy of the guests. A cleaning person walked right into our room when I was changing clothes (about 15 minutes after we checked in). It's also apparently standard-practice for the cleaning staff to put their ears up to the doors and listen to see if guests are sleeping. That's very very very creepy and an invasion of privacy. In addition, at 9:00am, the cleaning staff were VERY LOUD in the hallways. They would yell at each other from opposite ends of the hallways, right outside of the rooms where guests were sleeping.

Employees / Staff:
Shantelle @ the front desk was the only nice employee we interacted with. The employees staffed at the elevators, and the employees running the bag-check were incredibly rude. ESPECIALLY the employees at the bag-check. In addition to being rude, the bag-check employees seemed to be having issues. A line wrapped around the entrance and up the stairs, while 2 bag-check employees argued with each other. When it was finally our turn to pick up our bags, it took longer than normal (10+ minutes), so we asked if everything was ok. The employee then advised me: "you need to calm down. Can't you see we're busy? Don't imply that I need to hurry up!"

Wow.

This hotel succeeds at first impression, but the last impression is where it falls apart. And that's a shame, because last impression is what you're left with.

We will never stay here again thanks to the employees.

Dear Kenny H,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, as it can only allow us to improve for the future. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed our unrivaled location and that Shantelle provided an awesome check-in experience. We are however, regretful to hear the remainder of your stay was anything but exceptional. My sincerest apologies regarding the condition of your room and the unacceptable behavior you experienced during your stay. The appropriate department heads have been notified and are further investigating this matter. This is definitely not our service standard, and most definitely not the ones we would like to propagate. We hope to have the opportunity to have you back and regain your confidence in us.

Myself and 2 friends checked into Row NYC on a Friday night and the place was bustling. The room we were allocated was way to small for 3 people and our suitcases, that small my brother had to check into another room on the last night because we could hardly move and get changed. I had read the reviews on trip advisor beforehand about the rooms being very small and cramped but decided to book anyway because of the location.
Apart from the cramped rooms and very expensive drinks at the bar, ($30 around £20 english for 2 Jack Daniels and cokes brimmed with ice) the hotel was in a great location, was modern and had a free Mac suite/internet near reception which I thought was cool.

Stayed for 1 night only. It was a great location. I asked for a quiet room at check in. She put us on the 27th floor, in a handicap room far from the elvevators. We got a King bed in a corner room & it was a very good size. The views were amazing. The rooms come with screens to block out noise - so we had not issues with street noise. Room was very clean. Free Wi-fi and a really good price for NYC. The Bell hop was very helpful when we checked out at 6:00 am. He got us a taxi and informed us of the flat fee of $45 to LGA. It seemed like the taxi cab drivers (3) did not want to go to the airport. There were others waiting at the front of the hotel with luggage and the taxi cab drivers were just parked to the side, but the bell hop inisisted they take us to the airport. So I felt he gave us great service. I would stay again!

Perfect location to walk NYC: right into theater district (block away to most Broadway show), 2 blocks from Times Square, a block from Hell's Kitchen delicious restaurants, and a block to subway station.

Clean & modern, great design for lobby/restaurant. Had a larger room with sunset view (two queens beds). Bathroom is tiny, but nice mirror (integrated lighting).

Impressive gym for downtown NYC: plenty of cardio machines with personal entertainment, free weights & machines, mat area, etc.

Great customer service: greeter every day, security/limited access past 18:00, etc.

Note the fast elevator service: dedicated to your floor!

Careful: only one device for the free wifi. Additional devices to a charge.
