A memorable meal to be sure. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was incredibly attentive, and I was made to feel like a welcome guest in a fastidious home... All without breaking the bank! From the amuse bouche to the limoncello and biscotti at the end, there wasn't a thing out of place. The hostess was so gracious, she even came outside as I was leaving to introduce herself and warmly invited me to return. New York offers plenty of good food, but service at that level is rare without paying a fortune. I was incredibly impressed and plan to return soon!

My son and I were in NYC a recent Friday night. We stayed close to Times Square. We went to Trip Adviser for dinner recommendations. We decided on Italian food and Il Punto (Trip Advisor ranked in the top 100 restaurants in NYC) was close to our hotel - a short walk away. We didn't have reservations but were graciously welcomed nonetheless. A great selection of bread brought to the table. A Moche Bouche of chilled Gazpacho arrived soon after. We had a 4 course dinner from appetizers through dessert. The food was well prepared. Some of the dishes were not necessarily Italian - lamb chops and swordfish were well prepared and delicious but somewhat Americanized. The sides were definitely Italian from the fried calamari to the squid ink risotto and definitely the tiramisu. Italian wines by the glass for $10-15. Outstanding service during our meal. This place is good and pricey, but then again NYC is a pricey destination. We would come here again. It is off the main touristy area of Times Square and there were lots of locals there that night.

I had possibly the best pasta dish I have ever had.
The rest of the meal was just as good also.
Relaxed atmosphere, courteous and friendly staff and nice to find Moretti beer as an added bonus.

Our group of 6 often frequents NYC restaurants and many times we are disappointed with the attitude, if not the quality. All of us were over the top grateful to the staff and owners for not only a perfect meal, but little extras, great service and a charming environment. The quality of the ingredients was evident with every course. Flavorful breads, salads, soups and entrees. We were so full after the scrumptious, authentic Italian meal but decided to share 2 desserts. Both were over the top! Wine was reasonable and delicious. We tend to try new places, but vowed to go back to this restaurant at our next visit to this city. Highly recommended!

We had a reservation but we arrived early and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was full by 6:30PM. Approx. 12 tables. It is clean, excellent wait staff and a full bar.

We ordered the:
Fettucine Nere (in squid black ink) with mussels – very good, highly recommended
Paccheri al Ragu – had the largest pasta I have seen
Risotto agli asparagi e capesante (daily special) – risotto was a bit dry

We passed on dessert. There were mainly dairy selections and we were restricted from eating daily.

Overall experience – very good.
