We stayed at this hotel for news years eve and new years day as it was cheaper than times sqaure and we are so glad we did! Hotel lobby was gorgeous and staff very friendly.Handed a warm cookie on arrival which was a lovely touch.I hate lifts so to be put on the 33th floor was my idea of hell so they changed me to floor 6 which was perfect.Rooms are stunning.Bathrooms are so modern with a massive walk in shower with a huge waterfall shower head.Tv channels are endless and the bed is one of the best it wassoooooo comfy i didnt want to get out of it!!!Coffee making machine was quirky and a nice touch.Breakfast was included in the ultra low rate now this was the only tiny negative way too small for all the guests and didnt restock the bread etc quickly enough. The waiters were friendly especially josh and always topped up your orange juice etc but was just to crammed in and when the hotel is full full i think they will struggle with this. The prices for food and drink were just crazy so avoid this and go out to nearby restaurants and bars..becketts was anice one which is a stones throw away. All in all an excellent hotel with staff who have a smile constantly a friendly attitude which is unusual in new york compared to other service we recieved!! Def Def stay here you will not be dissapointed...I didnt want to leave!!!

Just got back from spending 3 nights in this brand new, "squeaky clean" hotel. The staff could not have been more accommodating, and we really enjoyed the location. Yes, the rooms are small, but it's Manhattan! We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for three nights for new years eve weekend. The hotel just opened on december 14th so it's brand new. the lounge area/ business center area is nice. it offers free wifi ( fee to have it in your room) and some lounge chairs and couches to lay back and surf the net. The rooms are tiny. I can't compare to other new york hotels in terms of space because i haven't visited in so long. i can say there was not enough floor space for myself and my friend to unfold our bags. definitely tight. the only complaint was the slow elevators. There are only three and they seem to take a long time. Definitely something you're not in the mood for after a late night out on the town. The bellmen were somewhat reluctant to get you a cab which i thought was interesting. My friend and i were leaving for the airport w/ bags and purses and the bellman suggested we walk to the corner to get a cab faster. hum? we were pretty weighed down with shopping bags, luggage and purses. Just didn't seem like the most ideal suggestion but then again i don't live in NY. Maybe they do it different there. All in all, it was a good experience.

Very nice room: small but very clean, modern, new. Heating unit a bit noisy at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location for staying in the financial district - Bowling Green subway only about two blocks away.

The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Two double beds are a rare find in NYC... this hotel was an excellent find. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
