Close to Little Italy. Tasted one of the famous siopao that they have, it was good. Full of Chinese food to choose from! Nice place!

“An Interesting Place to Explore”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

Take a walk around this area day or night, it's prettier at night with the gantry lights on. There are many places to eat and some delicious bakeries, selling all kinds of cakes and sweets, at incredibly cheap prices. The quality is good value for money.
Tips:It can be busy during the day, in the evening, when the lights come on, it tends to be more peaceful.
If you pass a large bakery, with a long glass cabinet on the left side of the shop, this is the one we bought our cakes from and they were good. Sorry, missed the name of this one, but there weren't any like it that I can remember. It may be along Canal Road. :)

Great little buzz about the place.
Good for cheap deals down the streets.
Try the local guide for the Gangs of N Y walking tours.

“Maid Cafe NY”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

There is a light food/desert shop in the style of akihabra maid cafe's on center st. Maid Cafe NY has food and drink served by girls adorned in traditional maid/lolita maid attire, it's a fun take on the actual cafe's that are very popular in akihabra japan, the servers all greet the guests when they enter and bid you farewell when they leave, i have been many times and hope to continue to visit when i am in the area, i would highly recommend stopping my for curry rice or an omlet, and also getting a picture with your choice of maid to remember the experience.
