This is one of our favorite Chinese restauarants in NYC. The restaurant has delicious food if a bit expensive compared to some of the cheaper Chinese restaurants whose food is not as good. Right on East 55th between Lexington and 3d Avenues and near Citicorp Center it is one of our favorites. We especially enjoy the barbequed spare ribs and the mooshu pork but everything we have tasted here, including beef and chicken dishes is tasty and well prepared. They have a mix of spicey and blander dishes. We have been bringing family, friends, business associates and guests here for years and not one has complained about the food. It is always fresh. They all love it. Admittedly, the service is not as friendly as it could be but that could be due to the language barrier. Owners themselves are friendly if you speak with them. The restaurant itself is not very large but has a lovely decor. It gets a mix of people living in the neighborhood as well as tourists and business people. On weekends it is a bit quieter. For families, I have seen young children and babies there but it is not the type of space where young children can or should be running around as they do in some restaurants.
