This was a surprisingly great stay. Very accommodating to both business and personal travelers. Tough area to find a good hotel, but this is an exception to that rule. The added benefit is being in a great location for food...Chinese food!

Stayed at this hotel Friday evening December 6th. It is a little hard to find walking down the street. I was told by the front desk staff that signage on Canal street is strictly regulated by NYC. The room on the 10th floor was clean and quiet. Nice king size bed with comfortable pillows, mattress and comforter. The room is a decent size for a NYC hotel room. Same for the bathroom. No tub just a very big shower. Good black out drapes kept the room dark until it was time to get up.

WiFi was a bit pricey -- over $20 per day. We did not use it.

Good choice for this part of NYC.

This is a disgrace to the Sheraton brand. We stayed 2 nights and our room was never cleaned even though I made several requests via phone and in person. Closet is very awkward to store clothes and there were no drawers in the room. Bathroom was modern and spacious, but no shower cap or Q-tips. No in-room movies or checkout! Guest bathroom on the 2nd floor was dirty, toilet paper on the floor, trash bins overflowing, no paper towels. Very poorly managed hotel.

Room Tip: It's called Sheraton Tribeca, but beware as it is right on Canal Street.

Lower older ground floor rooms expensive, drab, old. Club lounge good. Charge you for beer. Maybe higher rooms better. I'm Platimum but made no difference. Poor and won't be back. To charge over $400 for such a dismal room dilutes a lot of loyalty.

This is a full-service hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. No in room movies, some movie channels available. Room service was good quality food, presentation, timing, accuracy all fine. A nice perk is the free internet access and printing in the lobby. Building is close to Chinatown, which is more of a neighborhood you want to visit rather than stay. Subway access 4/5 blocks away along Canal St where there's nonstop bootleg everything mixed in with seafood vendors. Nothing in the immediate area worth seeing or doing after dark. All the action is going to be further uptown. Staff were especially efficient (Speedy Check-in, Room Service, Bell, etc) and pleasant.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors offer better city views.

Muy buen lugar justo donde empieza SOHO, limpio, bonito, muy amable los empelados, me parecio una muy buena opcion.
Its a really good option to think next time you go to NY, small hotel, clean, friendly staff, bussines floor, and its ina great location, just where soho starts, nezt to hudson river so a morning walk o if you are a runner is a great option to go all the way up to central park.

Room Tip: high floor

Stayed here 2 nights just before thanksgiving. It's a Sheraton,so you know what to expect. What sets it apart is the staff. Never seen such friendly staff anywhere- and I've travelled a LOT ! Super helpful, and well run. I see a previous reviewer siad it was dirty? Couldn't disagree more. The area is not great however, that's not the hotels fault-it's just Tribeca! Want to but a "Lolex" watch? You're laughing, oh and fake handbags abound too..
