The atmosphere is cool with exposed brick and mood lighting but not overdone. Staff was friendly and happy we were there. Unlike other Food Network Chef restaurants Marc was there and working in the kitchen and took the time to talk with us, showed me the kitchen and took pics with us. Hand crafted cocktails were good - margarita with siracha smoky tequila and fresh lime. THey handmade scratch mocktails for the ids. We started with indian spiced backed oysters which were excellent. The steaks were seared perfectly, crusty on the outside and medium rare in the middle. They had a wild suckling pig special with shoulder and loin that was excellent and gamy in a good way paired with earthy squash and black-eyed peas. The fresh trout was cooked perfectly and was paired with hen of the woods and other accoutrements that looked like they had been foraged from the area around the stream where the fish was caught. Desserts were excellent and they got us out in time for our show that evening. Highly recommend.
