“Great Horse & Carriage ride on Valentines day xx”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

Central Park Sightseeing or aka Must See Central Park as per their website was great (also do bike tours/rentals). I was skeptical after reading some reviews but gave it a go and booked for a Horse & Carriage ride for 60 minutes in central park on Valentines day. We paid $139 which is the same as all the others in the park ($50 first 20 mins then $10 for every 10 mins after that). Once booked I got a confirmation receipt with the details and their shop address.

A day before our booking they emailed me with confirmation again and our drivers name and number to call 1 hr before our ride. We did this and our driver Maya was great and arranged a place for us to meet. Our tour started right on time and he gave us a lovely tour of the park with some history and touristy info as well. Our driver stopped at a nice spot in the park and took some pictures for us. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Either book in advance with them or if not that busy time of year you will always find 5-10 carriages on 59th st, west end of central park. Well worth it even if you do a 30 min ride, especially on a clear day. If its cold they give you a big blanket to put on your laps.

“Fun in the snow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

Central Park is beautiful, especially in the snow. The rickshaw guide is a definite must. More expensive than the carriage ride, but you see much more of the park and you can barter with the price. Our guides were brilliant and told us loads about the park and about the people who have apartments round it. Billy Joel, Bono, Woody Allen, Michael Douglas to name just a few. Went Ice Skating too. All in all a great experience.

“Ice skating in Central Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Great way to spend a Sunday morning in NYC whether you are a first timer or an experienced skater. You can hire skates or bring your own. The ice rink is well monitored and staff are there to help you. Once you pay you can stay as long as you want. Viewing area for available for those who don't want to participate.

“Touristy? Yes, and worth it.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

We got a pass to ride the hop-on hop-off double decker bus, partly for traveling from place to place, and partly just to see the sights. Very much worth the price and time. We were fortunate to have a pretty decent couple of days weatherwise, and that could make a difference. Plan accordingly.

It was nice to get some fresh air in such a huge city. The squirrels were really cute also. We visited the boat cafe which had a lovely view & was reasonably priced
