“Really fun place to build your own meatball meal”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

First off its situated in Lower East side which is such a great spot in Manhattan. You have so many choices to choose from on the build your own menu. I actually decided to try the veggie balls with, parmesan cream sauce, risotto and daily veggies. Exceptional food and very friendly staff. Plan on waiting at least an hour to get a table without a res. The seating is a little cramped but not too bad. You need to be in the mood to sit right next to strangers

“WOW WOW and WOW (and I am a vegetarian!!!)”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

I went there with my two sons (8 and 11) and my husband. The atmosphere and decor are both awesome. I am a vegetarian and I had the "Everything but kitchen sink salad (with the vetetable meatball with pesto) and it was heavenly good. The wine selection was great. The ice cream sandwiches were great and such a fun dessert for kids (you get to choose the cookies and the ice cream flavour you want!!).

I don't live in NYC but I do visit 1-2 times per year. I know for a fact that I will be back at this restaurant every time I go back to NYC and I will recommend it to everyone! No doubt about it.

“Chill, very relaxed NYC-restaurant”

Fun, hip and relaxed restaurant serving the world's best meatballs. Very young and a great place to have a light meal before going out.

“Not very good meatballs”
Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

So not very good meatballs from a meatball shop. We got a selection of sliders and sauces. The meatballs were without good texture , in essence they seemed like a meat paste as opposed to a home made meatball. We had nice lemonade and ice cream but in the lower east side you can do better

“Go with the Sliders”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Because you can order every type of meatballs that way. Small restaurant, had to wait close to 45 minutes for a table for 7, but it was worth the wait. Simple menu (meatballs and . . . ) but delicous. Sides were very good - went with the grits, but also tried the roasted veggies and the salad. Plus, PBR on tap! (Pabst Blue RIbbon). What more can you ask for in a simple diner?
