This restaurant deserves a visit! Nice and simple food, cheap, great service!!!! Just a great experience, a good moment and it does not hurt the wallet!!! I'll come back next time I visit NYC....

Searched this place out after the reviews on tripadvisor. Funky and cool place. Excellent food and service. Like the way you right on the menu what you went. Was not disappointed with the food we got.

The only thing "wrong" with The Meatball Shop is that it is small. We were told that it would take about 20 minutes to seat us so we waited. Some seats opened up at the bar and we sat in 5 minutes instead of 20. Wonderful staff, Wonderful food, Wonderful Atmosphere!

I can't wait to go back.

We actually ordered take-out as the restaurant had a 1 hour wait during the week and it didn't seem worth it to wait at the time. With that said the restaurant is small and cozy with a nice ambience. It was just to crowded when we were there and I couldn't see waiting. The sandwiches themselves were quite good. My family and I had 3 different types of sandwiches and they were all good and traveled well. They are also "moderately" priced for NY, a pleasant bonus.

Based on the reviews here we decided to take a walk away from Times Square to visit even though it was quite a walk. It was during hurricane Sandy, it was cold, rainy and windy but we managed to find The Meatball Shop and we were glad we did.

A warm, welcoming, romantic, candlelit ambiance with background music, we had great service from start to end.

The menu is simple and enables you to try a variety of flavours and combinations. We tried a selection of sliders, sauces, a salad and a bolognese pasta dish. For dessert we tried the cookie/ice cream sandwich with the matching sparkling wine. Everything was tasty, well cooked, and we were given a good amount of privacy to chat and enjoy our meal at our own pace.
