My mother and I have been on several domestic and international food walking tours and this was our least favorite. Not because of our guide, Nancy - she was the highlight of the tour. Her knowledge of the area and its history was excellent. It was the food and the fact we didnt feel as if we got our money's worth. The Japanese food and Portuguese sandwich were excellent. The empanadas were mediocre and we had to stand to eat. The southern comfort restaurant had a great story but there were issues with staff not coming to work that delayed our food. The mac n cheese was excellent but the wings were just ok. For $178, I expected a lot more.

My wife and I along with another couple did the Hells kitchen tour with Billy as our guide. We chose the Hells kitchen tour mainly because it was close to our hotel but also because we have already done food tours on pretty much every other area of the city and Brooklyn. This is our first tour with Manhattan and we will definitely do another. Our guide Billy appeared very experienced and knowledgeable about the city. He was very professional and we enjoyed his company.
