The National 9/11 Memorial and Museum is a touching tribute to the many who lost their lives in the tragic 9/11 attacks. The outside water memorial is incredibly beautiful and moving, and the museum and exhibits are thoughtful and informative. (6/2015)

While this is a heartbreaking memorial, it is one everyone should visit. It will enlighten you on the events that weren't covered by the media and is a tribute to everyone who lost their life.

We were here about a year after the towers went down and it was emotional then and it still is now, just reading some of the names of the people and first responders that died is heart wrenching and makes you realize how vulnerable we all are.
If you visit here please take time to reflect on the devastation and the lives of innocent people that were lost by the senseless act of terrorism

This is a trip evry American should be required to make. Buy the ticket online before going and avoid the lines. Download the excellent app on your phone before going. Robert DeNiro does an outstanding job getting you through most of the exhabits. Allocate at least three hours to your visit and better yet four, we took five. Well done and avoids the commercialism found in other memorials. Even the gift shop is tasteful. Well worth the time spent. If you only have an hour go anyway. You will not have time for the historical part of the tour but just being there is enough.

Beautiful grounds and beautiful memorial pool, the names are so powerful...and makes you realize that it was truly an attack on the world, so many nationalities were represented in those buildings when they came down. The museum was amazing as well, good information and history leading up to 9/11. Well done NYC, this is a beautiful tribute for one of the worst days in our nations history. Definitely see this!

Amazing museum. Couldn’t believe everything they had from the twin tower buildings. Self guided tour took us about 2 and a half hours.

Clean, organized, interesting.
The one exhibit seems a bit small. It’s the biggest exhibit in the smallest area.
It’s a beautiful, big place. Very sad.

NOt many words to offer here except you have to see it yourself. Its a very emotional experience! THe museum is built under the memorial fountains and its surreal to be there knowing what took place on this spot.
