We had a 9:340 reservation and by the time we sat down it was 10:20 but we enjoyed the lobby.Very nice upscale restaurant is an updated totally renovated older ,now Euro chic ,hotelThe hostess did her best to get us to our table as best as she could but the place was jam packed so it is hard to ask someone to leave. Nonetheless when we did sit down ,the food was excellent. There were 5 of us and 4 are very well traveled business people and this place is no nonsense very high quality food with excellent ingredients.Everyone enjoyed the food to the nth degree.Wine list is very complete and food menu is as it should be...short and sweet.Very very busy so expect a wait, but hotel lobby has two bars that you can enjoy.

I went to this restaurant for my birthday with many girlfriends and was not disappointing! Happening restaurant, with a good bar scene and culinary heaven! I would definitely recommend.

Although at the Gramercy Park Hotel, the place is not overly-preppy (fine, an occasional polo with an upturned collar and such excluded). It's a part bakery (don't miss deserts), part proper brasserie and a great place for brunch. Plenty of space, so doesn't feel cramped even when full. Olive oil cake is a must. And so are the sorbets. Brunch menu is extensive but egg options are strangely limited - scrambled eggs, egg white omelette or a variation on poached eggs (over corn...); I mean if you're already going to offer poached eggs then eggs Benedict are a staple, no?

Good selection of cocktails and a sizeable wine list.

We booked for 12:00 brunch but our table for 8 didn't become available until 12:40. The manager and staff were really kind and provided complimentary drinks and pastries while we waited and even gave us free coffee and dessert -- much more than we expected. So for service, actually 5 stars. The artichokes were really nice and I just couldn't resist the side of porchetta. But my wife didn't like her pasta, the salads seemed just a bit tired, and my tagliata was composed of cold, hard pinkish lumps.
