This hotel is great, I highly recommend it. The location is perfect, we were able to walk everyone, Times Square, Tribeca, SoHo, Central Park... (if you're lazy you may want to take a cab, these are not short walks).
I think for the price it's pretty much the best hotel in NYC.
The beds were super comfy and the linens were high quality, 4 star all the way! The shower was awesome; with jets, rainwater showerhead etc. The monogrammed towels were good quality, the hair blow dryer was a proper one, not the usual hotel nightmare.
Our room was large, 2 double beds with lots room to walk around.
The electronic curtaisn were cool, same with the tv in the bathroom. And our room had an ipod docking station, which is always a nice touch.
I was worried about noise because of the complainers on here, we didn't have any issues. I think I heard a horn honking a couple of times... but that's to be expected in any city. I didn't hear the supposed train noises at all. (We were on the 3rd floor).
The lobby is really cool, hip furniture and a cool fishtank.
If you are the pickiest person ever, you might not like that the toilet roars when it flushes (it's powerful)... I didn't find it a problem, but you can hear it with the door closed.More
