“Lusting for more Luke's already!”
Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

Just topped off a successful East Village food crawl with the ridiculously sumptuous Lukes Lobster roll. This place surpassed our already high expectations and delivered the goods. Five food critics are now five addicts. Get the lobster roll with claws and hold the mayo- the chilled lobster and toasted roll is all you need!

“The lobster roll is awesome!”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

I had the lobster roll and it was simply delicious. The lobster meat is fresh and the bread is toasted well. Is a must try!

“Great soup and sandwich”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

My girlfriend and I had lunch at spent an afternoon at the Todd English Food Court. I never have crab meat sandwiches. I loved it. It was fresh and delicious. The bread was warm and crusty. The New England Clam Chowder was really good. It was the first time my girlfriend tasted it. She was very impressed and wants to bring her husband back. I was happy it was winter and no long lines of people waiting to have our seat.

“Close but no cigar”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

The food was wonderful! It was very small but very nice atmosphere. The only thing we had thoughts about was the staff. This was our first visit here and they didn't really care and help us when we were trying to choose from the meny. And we were the only guest in the place...and they were not busy with anything else.
But still! We would go here again :-)

“It is what it is!!”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

I love lobster so whilst in NY we decided to track down a lobster shack and sample the food. We went to S.William Street in the financial district. This is just a hole in the wall and we had to wait for a seat even though it was a Saturday. For those Brits amongst you, where they say lobster roll with chips read lobster roll with crisps....... Everything is served in recyclable boxes and there are no bells or whistles. The welcome from behind the counter was warm, the food wholesome but overall there is something lacking. The guys obviously have a formula that works for them, but the overall experience if tweaked could be so much better for the consumer. Being a Cornish girl I expected something with a little more 'wow', but then we do a pretty good job of lobster rolls ourselves! Don't be put off by this review - it is what it is, but don't expect something totally amazing as you may well be disappointed.
