This hotel is situated close to the Wall Street subway station. It is a new hotel that is attached to the Club Quarters hotel. The rooms are perfect, especially for the $105 HOWIRE price that I paid(minus fees). the lobby is pleasant with two FREE computers and a TV(not working at the time). The hotel has FREE INTERNET(a premium) which is not normal for most NYC hotels, but normal for any CLUB QUARTERS-related hotel. There is a separation form the CLUB QUARTERS section of the hotel, which is something novel. The website advertises free coffee all day in the lobby, but there was NONE. When I asked, I was told that it was only on the CLUB QUARTERS side. Hmmmmmm!

The room was incredible.... totally electronic climate control on a little panel next to the bed. My room overlooked the 911 site which gives an incredible view of the construction. The bed was extremely comfortable with great pillows. The third floor(where I was) had vending, ice and an ATM.

THE ONLY DRAWBACK was the lot jack-hammer noise around 6:30 A,M. It woke me right up and I was barely able to go back to sleep. I had wanted to sleep in, but........

The jewel was the 20th floor restaurant(open to all) that was open all day, with outdoor dining that was spectacular(if you could stand the construction noise). It is one of the best that I have seen.

Overall, this is a great location for business in the downtown Wall Street area, but, unless you like subway travel(and the heat below ground is unbelievable), this is not close to major attractions, museums, Time Square, etc. However, for $105 for a **** hotel, I could not resist.

The location of the hotel is great for being in viewing distance of the World Trade Center construction site, unfortunately that closeness also includes listing to the TNT explosions and jack hammering of site preparation. The hotel provided no advance warning that the Superior room with View meant a view of a construction site and listening from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM to construction sounds. Once we arrived to check-in we were provided with notice, unfortunately a bit late to make better reservations. We were accommodated with one room change reluctantly. The self service kiosks were also not working for check-in and at check-out had to use two of them.

Room Tip: Do not pay more for a room with a view.

We stayed for 4 days, and found everything to be more than satisfactory. The rooms are sleek, modern and very comfortable. We had an amazing view overlooking the WTC construction site, noise was not an issue. The filtered water stations on every floor are sooo convenient. We were always greeted by the front desk whether we werecoming or going. Multiple Subway stops are only a 3 minute walk away. We received an amazing price through priceline, not sure if we would pay full price to stay here though. Only negative was our room wasnt cleaned one day, but after notifying the front desk, we had towels and soap within 5 minutes, literally. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent well equipped hotel, with friendly very helpful staff. Subway station is close by. There is noise from ground zero but once inside it is quiet. The view from the restaurant of the work going on at ground zero is very interesting, as are the cocktails!!!!!!!!! Would recommend this hotel as excellent value for money

beautiful hotel, basic but also luxurious.great staff, we were facing the heavy construction area of Ground Zero and was pretty loud in the early morning so we asked to switch rooms to another side of the building and we were immediately satisfied.
make sure you ask for a room on the quieter side of the building!!!

I can't understand the negative comments that appear in the reviews for this hotel. My wife, daughter and I stayed there over the Easter long-weekend. On checking in, the staff greeting us were extremely courteous and helpful (and there was a tray of chocolate chip cookies). Although the kiosk check-in/check-out system may intimidate some people, the staff was there to offer assistance where required. Further, every time we entered the lobby from the elevator or upon our return from sightseeing, we were always greeted pleasantly by the staff. It rained like crazy for the majority of our visit, but the hotel offered up the use of umbrellas to protect us from getting wet. Nice touch.

And our room!!! Compared to some of the dumps we've stayed at in mid-town that are $100 to $150 more expensive, this was by far the best value we've ever experienced. I can only comment about our room (a suite), but it was comfortable, extremely clean, with an outstanding view of the NYC skyline. The fridge, stove and oven were very handy in keeping us within our food budget. I can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't use it, but it seemed busy.

The noise from the construction below is noticeable, but not overbearing. With the window closed, it could barely be heard. In fact, watching the construction of the historic re-build after the tragedy of 9/11 was quite moving and forever memorable. People complaining about the noise emanating from below should be ashamed.

Access to the subways is unsurpassed ... the purchase of a 7 day unlimited-ride Metro pass eliminated the need for ever taking a taxi.

All-in-all, a very pleasant place to stay. We're already planning a return visit this summer.

Room Tip: Book early for best selection and rates.

I booked this room through Hotwire and good thing I got a hefty discount because this place is not worth the rack rate. The hotel is band new, clean and modern (the rooms are tiny but functional). However, the staff is disinterested, unhelpful, unwelcoming and really soured the whole experience.
