My wife, knowing how frugal I can be, reserved a photo tour with this company without me knowing the cost. When Mark arrived at our hotel for a 2-hour photo tour, it was a hot sunny day and our two teenage girls was not so keen on going on the tour.
Well Mar, being a typical New Yorker, did not let that faze his plans. He took us to various parts of Midtown, Downtown, Brooklyn Bridge, Soho district and Greenwich Village and even took us off the beaten paths to see some of the quaint neighbourhoods. Throughout the tour, he constantly got us into formation for a family pictures with key sites behind us.
We expected the photo tour part but what we found also most helpful was that Mark gave us a tutorial on how to ride the subway in NYC, what to pay at the museums (since the daily fee is a recommendation), where to eat and where the free ferry rides are (Stanton Island Ferry is free and we highly recommend it). These suggestions were priceless as you never get that from any tourist magazines.
Mark was to the tee in getting us to all of the locales within the 2 hour time slot and dropped off the CD of the photos at our hotel the next day. The pics were excellent and professional and it was worth the $400 cost. We now have a collection of family photos in NYC that we would have not been able to capture otherwise with our cameras or iPhones with the whole family in all of the pics.
