Group of 6 ate here on Saturday evening and everything was great from start to finish. The only downside to the meal was that the table was very cramped otherwise it would be a 5 star rating.

You can relish a full meal (better for summer lunch) in a great atmosphere, best choice on a sunny Sunday. They had great chicken and fries

The Standard Grill is a nice setting, with a good little outdoor section for sunny summers days. The food was really tasty - simple and just what you need kind of portions. The blood marys were the low point. They must have their own special mix, which didn't go down well across the board, especially considering they cost as much as the food.

Still a worthy little spot for an easy fuss free breakfast.

Very nice service and atmosphere, with abundant outdoor seating in a cute area. The vanilla-rum custard-filled doughnuts were out of this world. The pancakes were some of the best I've had, as were the biscuits. Everyone left full, happy, and satisfied.

After walking the Highline on a beautiful Summer evening our party of 4 decided to eat out at the southern end of the line. Most places were mobbed because of the time and the fantastic weather. There was no outdoor seating available so we opted to wait in the bar area for a table. Luckily, we jumped on a table for 4 in the bar area where we could have dinner. It didn't seem much quieter in the interior of the restaurant, and the bar area was loud enough that we had to nearly shout to one another to converse. Next time I'd try and reserve for the outside or perhaps try the interior (there was simply more decor to absorb sound unlike the bar area).

Enough complaining. The food and the service from the bartenders, initially, and later the server we had was top notch. That raw bar selection was fairly standard (no pun intended) and one of our party wanted lobster for an entree but was limited to the raw bar lobster. Instead, he had a NY Strip steak, home fries and a chimichurri sauce that satisfied him. Another in our party was torn between a delicious sounding Colorado lamb chops and ribs and the veal chop which she ultimately ordered. I had a nice hunk of that chop; juicy, delicious and perfectly cooked. Both the halibut and bronzino were perfectly cooked and the halibut was accompanied by extraordinary greens and beans.

Oh, the cocktails were quite nice and the wine list perfectly adequate.

The dessert was absolutely killer. A chocolate mousse over cake with chocolate shavings and whipped cream had the tables 4 spoons attacking it with abandon. The semi freddo was equally good tasting (although visually less stunning).

All in all, this joint was a great way to cap off a fine Summer's day.
