The front of the restaurant feels more like a shellfish bar, with seating on wooden benches and tables with marble tops. The main restaurant feels more like a brasserie with red leather semi circular seating areas, with black and white checkered tablecloths. The vibe is warm friendly and relaxed. Then our waiter came and he was not one of New Yorkshire finest! We were expecting someone friendly, informative and fun and we got someone distant and disinterested - what a shame as the food was excellent I had the lamb chops, one our party had the trout, really tasty. Finished off with a perfect cheesecake.
