We had just one day to tour downtown Manhattan and this made that possible. We got on at Pier 84 and it took us out on the Hudson River to see the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and the Island of Tears. We got off at Battery Park and enjoyed walking around there before walking to the 9/11 Memorial where the tour company had provided us with our pass and already made our reservation so we avoided line-ups. After exploring lower Manhattan we took the water taxi for a view of Brooklyn Bridge and just enjoyed the views of Manhattan. The only disappointment was that there was supposed to be a free bus that would drop us off in Time Square but we were told the bus was not available since it was under repair. The free bus was not really part of the tour and was really like a bonus for anyone who takes a tour with them so it was no big deal...it was just a short walk anyway!

Our party of seven in New York City were offered free tours by the bus driver. As soon as the bus started moving, we were forced to pay $150 for the WORST tour we have ever had. The driver skipped FIVE RED LIGHTS, it was terrifying. Our tour guide was incredibly high on marijuana and kept flirting with women on the bus OVER THE MICROPHONE. He did not point out any famous sights, and the stoned tour guide even demanded we stop the bus so he could get an ice cream... Which we did... For TWENTY MINUTES. That was the only stop the bus made... No stops for sights, and no information about anything in New York City. DO NOT TAKE THIS COMPANY'S TOURS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

I researched a lot of different ways to get to Niagara from New York, this tour seemed to be the best value, and it was. it was great, very professional from start to finish, tour guide was very good and keep you entertained, although the drive was long, it went fast and there are plenty of stops, also the bus is very comfortable if you just want to chill out from racing around New York for three days as we did. We thought Niagara was stunning, it's a must see, especially from the Canadian side, also the Hotel room was one of the best we have stayed in so that was a bonus, lovely spa bath as well. Highly recommend.

On Board tour is the best and great value tour. This is 5.5 hours tour Matt our tour guide was a book of knowledge. Water was supplied for all during the tour. Went to pier 17 for lunch (on your own) then on the Zepher bus for the harbour tour (include with this tour) seeing the statue of liberty. Also many more sites. Bought tickets at our hotel Holiday Inn Express New York Times square. Price for the tour is $82.00 great deal. The rooms at the hotel are small, but very clean. The continental breakfast is great and lots to choose from. Recommend this because it is close to many things. Enjoy! April 6/2013

We chose this tour instead of an expensive private tour (at 4x the price) and were very satisfied! Taylor, a young woman, was our guide. We found her immensely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. In fact, our whole tour group of about 20-30 people enjoyed her presentation immensely. I discussed that with several of them as we had a great trip around the city. The tour was long, but because we went on a boat tour and also had time outside the bus with our guide, the time went by much quicker than you'd think. Our 13-yr old had no trouble with the all-day length, although I noticed those around age 10 and younger started to wilt about 2/3 of the way through. We had time to stop & eat as well as a tour into the Twin Towers memorial. We saw the Statue of Liberty & other attractions from the water (Lady Liberty is closed from Hurricane Sandy until July 4 weekend 2013) and were walked around the Wall Street area by our guide as well. I valued our guide's knowledge & animated delivery and we were very pleased we did not opt for hopping on & off on our own. This was a great option for us and I recommend it!
