“Just OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

We are a big gamer family and we had to check this out while at Rockefeller Center Plaza. It's just OK. The prices are better at game stop where you can get used games for less. It was kind of cool to try out the new Nintendo games and to see the history of Nintendo and see all the old consoles we used to have. Not a place to stay for any extended period of time.

“fun to stop in”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

Nintendo world is basically a show room for nintendo products, it's a great way to kill 30mins since there are game set ups.

There is also a small display upstairs showing old nintendo products, almost like a mini museum.

It's worth a quick look

“Eh....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

We went because my 12 y/o son is a big Nintendo fan. We did enjoy playing some of the games, but this was more of a place to sit and play for a few minutes - nothing more exciting than that.

“My 10 year old's favorite stop in NYC”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is my son's favorite place in New York. He loves all of the plush characters and t-shirts available for purchase. We love to demo a lot of the new games and most recently - the new Wii U game system. The "museum" area with all of the history of Nintendo is great fun as well. The service is excellent as well. We never miss Nintendo World when visiting NYC (at least not when my son is with us!).

“Not nearly as cool as I expected.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

I was very excited about visiting this store, but was ultimately disappointed. I thought there would be more merchandise that was exclusive to the store. The history of Nintendo displays were neat to look at. At the very least this store is worth a quick walk through for any Nintendo fans visiting NYC.
