Le boeuf, Vin Rouge, Pomme Frites, the only thing better than this would be sitting in sidewalk Bistro in Paris enjoying the city.

This was our second dinner at thst restaurant. Very consistent. The meat was superior and so were the French fries.

Not wanting to sound blasé, we've been to the Relais de Venise L'Entrecôte in Paris and in London and they are much better and tastier than this one in New York. The sauce wasn't the same, it was rather watery, but it's okay if you want to appease your longing for an entrecôte.

Well, what a thrill it was to find this Paris family restaurant coming to NY.
My first visit to this fix prixe restaurant was as in Paris, where locals and savvy tourists know of it.
There are no entree menues, it is beefsteak with a wonderful Dijon/walnut salad, and crispy French fries.
You only have to say how you want the steak prepared (well, medium, rare). The sauce for the meat is a secret, but it is delicious (and Pavlovian, as one will crave that sauce some time later). A simple bill of fare with crispy French baguette bread), and order a nice simple bottle of red wine to go with it, and you will enjoy!
If that is not enough, the desserts are to die for, especially the meringue tower and the profiterole with homemade chocolate sauce and thin sliced almonds. Yum!
BTW, there is a new Relais de Venise (L’Entrecore) just opened up in SOHO.

My friend and I were craving a good steak but most of the places where extremely expensive and as we contemplated where to go we came upon this delightful restaurant with french flair and a reasonable steak dinner. The presentation of our steak dinner was superb and the steak prepared to our liking. Wine was excellent and the dessert too. Have kept the receipt so I can recommend to others that may visit in the future
