My family and I ate here twice on a recent visit to NYC. It is conveniently located in the NYTimes building on 8th avenue, just across from the port authority bus terminal. We dined on both occasions in the evening between 5 and 7pm. One of the nice things about coming here was that it was just far enough from the mayhem of Times Square in the summer to a) not be busy and b) not be outrageously overpriced. I'd also like to point out that we walked by the restaurant on a weekday at lunch and the line was 20 people deep.
We had a number of menu items, but the best of the lot were the grilled cheese and the fish tacos. The sloppy joe was tasty, but didn't do much more than recall memories of eating at my high school cafeteria 30+ years ago.
