I spent several days at the Times Square Manhattan Hampton Inn. Here are the highlights. The staff was very warm and caring. The room was nice, but NYC small with a small closet. You will find enough electric charging ports in the room to satisfy a family. The King size mattress was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The linen always looked absolutely fresh! One of the housekeepers, Mai, left a cute little towel sculpture resembling a swan in the room - normally only seen in very high end hotels. The room air was clean. You will find the staff is very efficient and friendly. Good trip!

You can't go wrong with a Hampton Inn. It delivers a consistent brand experience every time! This Hampton Inn is tucked away on W39th St, close to 9th Avenue. It's not exactly Times Square, but no one should stay in the middle of that mayhem anyway. This hotel looks like it was just renovated. I'm on the 15th floor and can't here a peep from outside. The staff is very friendly and helped me practice Spanish when I checked in. 39th St between 8th and 9th may seem a little dingy and seedy in sections, but I think it's just because some of the buildings are old. There are restaurants on the street and a very reasonably priced hair salon called KolorBar.

This hotel was nothing fancy but adequate. Room and bathroom were very, very small but comfortable and clean.

Location seemed fine close to TimesSquare

Most of the staff was great but one lady who cleaned seemed to be quite unhelpful.

Shower was clogged but fixed promptly when issue reported. Worst thing was a damp dank smell to the room. That really turned me off.

I've stayed here once before last summer, and highly recommend. Positives: convenient location to Penn Station and Times Square, nice modern and light feel to the lobby and breakfast area, hardly any traffic noise from outside, nice modern rooms. Negatives: street itself is on a small one-way that doesn't have a lot of lighting at night, not the nicest restaurants/bars on that street, elevators in morning can be slow, no views to speak of. Overall, I highly recommend.

Had mixed feelings after I booked this but did it anyway. The location is not bad but taxi ride was forever the streets leading to it are jammed with delivery trucks etc. Front desk gal super sweet room was ok size nothing special but clean . We were on back side of hotel which was fine as the street side was noisy with construction. Free wifi and breakfast which is find the usual fruit yogurt pastries eggs etc. It is nutty crowded during peak breakfast time but other than that time no elevator issues as some stated. Not a bad walk to heart of Times Square . Only thing about room I didn't like was no vanity area in bathroom for all my stuff but no real issues with this hotel!
