We boarded the boat at Chelsea Piers. The cruise has 2 architects who describe the buildings. The boat normally goes around Manhattan but due to the heat, the Spyten Dyval bridge was closed so we went as far as Hells Gate on the East River and close to the George Washington bridge on the Hudson. We also went into the harbor for close views of the Statue of Liberty. The crew was great and they have a complimentary first drink as well as a nice spread of cheeses, crackers and fruit as well as desserts. The inside of the boat is air-conditioned and you can spend time on the deck if you wish. You felt like you were treated well and not part of a large commercial operation. I highly recommend this cruise.
