I stayed here for a 3-night long weekend in NYC. Being in the business district with just 3 to 5 minutes walk from the Wall Street subway station, the hotel charged a much lower rate during weekends, and this turned out to be an excellent bargain - very large rooms and bathrooms, free internet, free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks at the minibar.
The tradeoff is location as many eateries nearby are not open during weekends and the streets are actually quite quiet. But it certainly worth spending the extra travel time to save money while staying at a luxury hotel in NYC.
