The ambience in the back room is casual Upper East Side. The service was fast, and the waiter was friendly and helped us pick a good wine. There is a front room bar and a back room bar and both were full. The food was very good, and my only problem was the hostess placed another couple at the table next to us even though there were other tables open farther away.

Excellent service and food. Tables could be bigger but it's ny. We enjoyed all the 3 dishes we ordered and with drinks dessert and coffee our tab was hundred bucks for 3 people. Excellent valve

What a great little place on th Upper East Side! Very loungy atmosphere and chic decor, great food (which even my fussy mother-in-law liked) , they even had one of my currently favorite rose' wines! I like the windows that fully open to the sidewalk which gives an airy feel. The place though cozy did not feel crowded and it wasn't too loud to hear ourselves talk. We even had a a celebrity sighting while there on a Wednesday night which was fun. The place is a hidden gem. Will definitely be back.

Sojourn could be called cozy...but it is so jammed packed, it is just crowded and cramped. And so loud. The conversation noise is bad enough, but then it's like they try to drown it out with loud music. The service staff were lovely. The food was good - not specatacular or special even, but, well, good. We had the Caprese salad (fresh), the mussles (well seasoned broth), the gnocchi (like mac and chees), and the kobi sliders. A nice, loud, meal.

This place feels tucked away and is fabulous. Order food to share. It is all wonderful. The short ribs, mussels, brussel sprouts (really!) and pastas are all amazing. The whole place is warm and cozy with great food and a wonderful ambience.
