“So personable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2012

Danny, the bartender, really showed us a great time. We felt so comfortable and entertained. The server, I apologize for not remembering her name, was so sweet and lovely! We were that annoying table of 3 women that hadn't seen each other in years so we sat forever... Danny was entertaining in the bar afterwards! Hope to see you in Chicago to play at my restaurant soon Danny!!!

“Very trendy but equally underwhelming food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

My girlfriend and I went here on our last night in NYC to treat ourselves to a special meal. We've been to the city many times and this was hand down the worst meal we've had [for the price].

Service was average, drinks were acceptable, however, the food left much to be desired. The seafood chowder was a chewy, rubbery mess and the French fries were super salty. The sausages, for being a main selling point, were not the delight I expected - they were average but the portion size definitely left me wanting more.

I wouldn't recommend this establishment as there are so many other amazing restaurants within walking distance.

“amazing sausage and beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012

i went here thinking it was just bar food because someone recommended it to me as that and WOW was I surprised! Be sure to get the Thai and Kim Chi sausage, The Christmas beer is wonderful even if you're not a beer drinker. Casual, chill and oh so good on a rainy day.

“Boulud take off for the american diner!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

The best sausages in the world.
Wonderful take off an American diner with unique touches of New York!
Daniel Boulud has done it again, Creates a cool nice bar/diner atmosphere with he's touch of the France cuisine.
You can have a links duo, which is nice. We had 2 duo of links, Beaujolaise + Thai (the best couple) & DBGB Dog + tunisienne.
With the duo, every link comes with it own original condiments.
The price for any 2 sausages is 25$, you should check which 2 you'll have and what's their price alone, maybe it will be cheaper to order them separately.
For dessert we had the baked Alaska! Beautiful and so tasty! Totally recommended! Perfect take off for the Delmonico's classic!

“fantastic restaurant - great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

Had a tremendous meal here, phenomenal homemade sausage. On a Saturday night, was able to get in with no wait, but the place was hoppin' - service and food was fantastic. Drinks were a bit overpriced, but overall, great value for the price. Highly recommend
