It's a lovely hotel with a great location in SoHo, easy walking distance to Greenwich Village, Little Italy, the Meatpacking District, and Chinatown. The subway stop is right on the corner and gives you one train access uptown, midtown (including Theatre District), and two stops from the WTC Memorial. The concierge was very helpful though I did get quite a bit of attitude from one of the front desk staff during the day shifts. Bed was super comfortable, view was amazing of the skyline and Hudson river, and the room was fully automated - which is awesome until it breaks down at night and there are no telecommunications personnel there to fix it. We went without phones and tv for a couple days :( Only other oddity is that the spa is pay-for-service even just to use the sauna or steam room. That's right, for $750 a night in a suite you don't even get access to the basic Spa amentities. Guess I'd like a little more pampering for the money! All-in-all it's a nice place and Koi has decent sushi but if I'm being honest I don't think the suite is worth the $750 a night ... just my opinion

Room Tip: I would ask for a room facing north to get the best view of the skyline, including the Empire State...

We could not have found a better place to stay in Soho.
The service was excellent and the room was amazing...we hated to leave our 30 th floor view of NY and the electric drapes a real treat...you don't even have to get out of bed! If you want to totally spoil yourself...this hotel is for you.
The spa was also wonderful.
Breakfast room, a bit on the dark side, would have preferred the drapes open, but the food was good and the coffee kept coming!

Room Tip: ask for a corner suite...the higher up the better....we had a one bedroom suite...it was amazing

What a great place to stay! The hotel had great amenities, and the staff was Awesome! We went to NYC for my wife's birthday. When we checked in they congratulated us on a birthday, brought up some delicious birthday cupcakes with a birthday card. Everyone working at the Trump Soho went out of their way to make sure our experience was unforgettable( in a good way ;) )!

This was our first stay in NYC. We visited uptown and Central park, but felt it was perfect to make Soho our place to stay ( quiet, couldn't imagine staying at Time Square Area). We were right by the Subway, and the Doorman were very helpful on how to use the system. Great shopping and food....what more can you ask for?

The Bed were super comfortable! Very modern with push button, opening curtains and closing...turning on lights...

Room Tip: Make sure you tell them if you are going for a special occasion.

I would like to start by apologising to the Trump Soho for the late review as we stayed here for 5 nights in sep/oct 2011, but as it came to our 1 year anniversary of our stay we thought that we had to put a review of our experience at this amazing hotel.

This was our first trip to NYC and as it was for a special occasion (my 30th Birthday) so we wanted to stay in a really nice hotel. We found the Trump Soho on Tripadviser and due to the good reviews decided to book. We took advice given in previous reviews and booked a deluxe room which would guarantee us a room above the 26th floor and we also contacted the Hotel a few weeks before our trip to advise that we were coming for a special occasion and if possible we would like a room with a view of the Empire State Building.

Upon our arrival we were told that our room had been upgraded and we were on the 44th Floor (Up in the clouds). Well we were not dissapointed, our room was fantastic and extremley large compared to all the other hotels we had been looking at. The bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom wih a double vanity unit and bath next to the window. All the furnishings were to the highest standard and the simplicity of the room really made it feel luxiourious. Under normal circumstances the quality of the room would have been enough but what made it was the view. We asked for a view of the Empire State Building and that's what we got! It was simply outstanding to have an uninterupted view of the Empire State and the whole of the midtown skyline.

The view however was probably even better at night. To experience the bright lights of New York from your bath tub was simply amazing. This is luxury and was worth every penny.

To make the stay even more special, my boyfriend proposed to me and had told the hotel of his plan so when we returned to our room that night there was Champagne and strawberrys and red rose petals on the bed and in the bath. A touch that made the evening perfect. Many thanks to Sara Ledesma from the attache team for orgainising all of this and making the trip extra special.

As for the location of the Trump Soho we were a bit concerned that it would be too far away from midtown but we need not of worried. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but as there is a subway station a couple of blocks away you are 10/15 minutes from times square and other sites. It is also in a great location for some fantastic restaurants (especially italian). If you like pizza we would recommend Ben's pizza on Spring St. There is a great diner only one block away on Vandam st where we had breakfast on a few occasions and a Starbucks across the street.

I cannot say enough about this hotel, from the staff, to the rooms everything was perfect! If you want to stay in a hotel where you have spectacular views, get first class service and the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in then this is the hotel. We can't wait to come back - maybe for our honeymoon!

A big thank you to all the staff at the Trump Soho for making this a holiday of a lifetime that we will never forget.

Room Tip: We would recommend staying in a deluxe room as it guarantees you to be higher than the 22nd floor so...

We were completely overwhelmed by hotel choices for our very first trip to NYC! There are more options than you can even find the time to research, and you sure don't get much for your money compared to other destinations. Knew we preferred a "grittier" part of town, with some flavour, and Soho seemed like a great fit. After weeks of research, the Trump Soho kept leaping to the top of our list (mostly due to TA reviews and the Trump's reasonable rates). We were hesitant to stay in a Trump hotel, as we thought it may be too over-the-top and conservative, but we didn't get that vibe here at all. So glad we made this choice! We loved our stay here.

The rooms here aren't cheap, but great value for NYC for the size of room, amenities, and spectacular views. It was an anniversary trip for us, and they upgraded us to a higher room for free, which was very appreciated. Since this hotel is taller than anything else around it in Soho, the views are unbelievable! We could see from the Empire State Building to the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, and everything in between. Beautiful!

All of the staff was friendly and helpful, but the big stand-out to us was Angel, one of the doormen. Always smiling and helpful, sincerely, without being over the top. Chatting with him every time we came and left the building became was one of the highlights of our stay!

Soho is a central location to so many things - you can walk to Wall Street, Ground Zero, Chinatown, etc. and Time Square was a short taxi ride. (BTW, if you are interested in watching the bell being rung at the NYSE, you no longer can unless you someone who works there lets you in...this was a bummer for us, since we had always wanted to see this!)

When we come back to NYC, we will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights. Lovely room with fantastic bathroom. Was looking forward to breakfast but was very disappointed. Were assigned to a table, so dark inside, felt like sitting in a bar at a nightclub, and so COLD. Limited options on the breakfast menu so thought I would go for the continental buffet, it was so small that I thought, no way am I paying that amount so will get a hot breakfast for 30 dollars. Waited ages, no one turned up. The table opposite complained as they couldn't read the menu, they wanted to move to the front but it is such a tiny place, they left too, as we did. Perhaps they rather do not want customers in there. Asked the concierge and she directed us to a diner along the road which was great.

Room Tip: Go as high as possible for excellent views.

We chose the Trump over Greenwich and Crosby Street because we were travelling with our 7 month old. We knew that we may have demands that would bore and overwhelm a traditional boutique hotel and didn't want the hassle of having to deal with potential problems with unaccustomed staff. Unfair on the other two candidates this may be, we wanted the reassurance of a big brand that was not standard run of the mill.

We were right. These guys were unbelievable. We had endless tedious requests; kettles, pillows, robes, towels, sitters, cars, dinner reservations, spa treatments and so forth. Nothing was too much and always accompanied by a smile.

We ate in the new restaurant and had great sushi and great cocktails despite arriving at 2330 after the US Open had been won by a fellow Scot!

Breakfast was fine but nothing special; we headed out after the first morning. The spa was fab and massages were out of this world.

Our room was on the 37th floor and had views over NJ which were stunning and the premier king was spacious and comfortable. A/C was maybe a bit intrusive, being thermostat based and kicking in whenever it thought the temp was a bit high - usually 15 minutes after I thought it was a bit hot...

Will come back though. Great place.

Room Tip: The higher the better. Premium rooms probably worth it.
