We chose this hotel after a great deal fo research due to having a two bedroom suite. We had never stayed in Soho before but we have a ten month old so we wanted to stay in a little bit more of a neighborhood environment. It was a great find. The rooms were perfect for our needs. We were able to put a crib in one room and hang out in the other after baby bedtime. The location was great. We used a stroller to go everywhere because we have a baby so we did all of our commuting by subway which was extremely simple. The E train is almost right out the front door of the hotel. We used it to go to Flushing Meadows for the US Open, Yankee Stadium, the Financial District and everywhere in between. The staff was excellent. Cullen was a great concierge, Rashawd was an excellent bellman and the rest of the staff was very courteous. They arranged our airport transportation seamlessly. We used the swimming pool in the afternoon on the 7th floor and it was very refreshing. We had a corner room on the 22nd floor that faced NW as one the bedrooms and the view was the best I have ever seen in NYC. We could see the Empire State building, the skyline and Central Park all the way up 6th avenue. The view out the other window was across the Hudson and was gorgeous also. The room has computer controlled curtains, lights and a/c which were great. The television channels had great choices also. The bathrooms were roomy with seperate shower and tub. I cannot imagine that another hotel in NYC is as spacious as the Trump Soho. I didn't use the workout facility but I visited the area and it was a nice room with the cardiovascular equipment facing out for great views. We were not so high that we could not hear street noise but it was not too bad. Within 4 blocks each direction there were restaurants and shopping. A Whole Foods Market was also within walking distance. With a baby, we were close enough to walk to the World Trade Center and Union Square. We made several trios down Spring street to Viva la Crepe which had fantastic crepes and we enjoyed nearby restaurants such as Hundred Acres, Amelias, and Wolfgang puck steakhouse. The hotel rooms and location far exceeded everything we were looking for in our stay. The two bedrooms adjoined through keyed entry way with one room having the living area attached directly. The rooms did have a microwave but only had a mini bar refrigerator that was not exactly designed for storing things and did not have a freezer component for freezing our dry ice packs.
