“Extremely creative”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

The pastas here are very good - we tried several and liked them all. A chef's genius lies in a few creative dishes. If you're into sea urchins, the 'ricci' (extremely fresh sea urchin and lard on a crostini) must be one of the most sublime renditions, along with the shrimp with sea urchin and oscietra caviar at Waku Ghin in Singapore. Service is professional and attentive, a bit snobbish NYC or Paris style. Not too expensive for a restaurant this calibre. A bit cramped, with not-too-comfortable seats.

“Great meal and atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

We recently dined at Marea, and the meal was excellent as was the service. The maître d, George was very gracious and hospitable in dealing with a timing situation. I would and will return to Marea. We had Branzino along with crudo sampler, both were superb.

“Well deserved 2 Michelin Stars and Relais et Chateaux”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

We booked at 9:00 for dinner and had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated. Apart from that it was perfection. The polipo in antipasti, the fusilli with braised octopus and bone marrow, the wild bass salt baked for 2, deserts... were all very tasty. Refined and yet simple decoration and atmosphere. Reservations one month in advance. Chef Michael White has done things right!
