Description: Less is always more. Restaurateur Sara Grizzle (formerly of Redemption Grill and Essex) and Food Network’s award winning chef, Abe Lopez, have teamed up to create a bright new spot in Manhattan’s East Village with the best Tapas ever plus other small dishes. The menu offers a taste of everything and accommodates every food preference, meat eaters and vegans alike. Serving Tapas lets a group mix and mingle. With a great wine list, a good selection of tap and bottled beers, as well as some of the most interesting cocktails around (try the Ginger Mojito), Poco is the perfect spot for a quick drink and appetizer, dinner, or a place to wind down after a hectic day. The food is original and fantastic (Mac & Cheese & Lobster) and as well as a good price performer appealing to budgets of any size. Everyone at Poco looks forward to serving you. Sara, one of the owners, is usually there and stops by each table to meet our guests. See you when you arrive.

“Don't Judge a Book!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013 via mobile

Building not much to look at from the outside, neighborhood seems a little shady, however inside is a very cute, cozy, intimate place. The service is really top notch, it seems all the servers really work together to give customers the best experience possible. I felt the food was just ok, but the drinks were awesome and the fact that happy hour is till 8pm is a plus. I saw a sign about Sunday brunch with all you can drink sangria and mimosa's will be back to try that. Great for groups, but get there early or make reservations, gets packed on a Friday night!!! Has a DJ downstairs starting at 8pm on Fridays. Tip: Cody is the BEST!! Sit in his section :)

“Perfect place for brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

I've had brunch here multiple times and have yet to be disappointed. Great staff. Great brunch menu. Delicious drinks. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The bottomless brunch includes an entree with unlimited drinks for $25 dollars; couldn't get much better than that! Now brunch on the weekend is busy anywhere, so I would get there right when it opens so you're not put on the waiting list. My favorite brunch meal: Lobster mac 'n cheese. This mac 'n cheese is magical---highly recommend it!

Tapas are to die for - order as many dates as possible - drinks are great, as long as Cody takes care of you

“St Patty's Day Brunch at Poco”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

Poco in the East Village on St Patty's Day - crazy right? In town with family and friends for the weekend and this restaurant was suggested by a local.

We went to enjoy the bottomless brunch - endless bloody marys, sangria or mimosas. The joint was already jumping when we arrived a little early - our table was not ready so we started out with a few bloody marys while we waited. The hostess was apologetic and pleasant and said our table would be ready soon - no worries. We sat down and reviewed the menu choices - breakfast and lunch were both available. Even busy, the service was great! Our waiter was on top of our beverages and was right there whenever a glass was empty. The Poco Benedict was fabulous. Not the place for a quiet meal - close quarters all around but the atmosphere was buzzing and lively. Good fun and a great start to our St Patty's Day celebration.

“Great food and even better drinks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013 via mobile

I visited Poco for brunch last week Sunday with a friend. I had forgotten how packed it could get and was feeling bad that I forgot to make reservations. Luckily, there were 2 empty seats at the bar and so we sat down to eat. The bartender was very friendly and immediately took our drink orders. They have unlimited cocktails for 1.5 hrs (mimosas, bloody Mary's, & sangria). We ordered the lobster eggs benedict and the lobster Mac and cheese. Both were delicious and very filling. The atmosphere was very nice although the venue is very small and gets crowded quickly. I would suggest reservations especially for parties of more than 2. All in all, you can't beat the price ($26.95pp) with the bottomless cocktails. I definitely recommend this place for brunch and will be returning over and over again.
