“Fun place!”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Soho is a fun place. Lots of excellent restaurants, a wonderful place to shop with boutiques that sell everything from clothes to accessories and home goods, all unusual, some weird, most of high quality. Roam the side streets for lots of surprises.

“A place to be!”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

This is the place where contemporary artists and their dealers chose to settle years ago.
When Soho began that was its whole being. These pioneers took over warehouses and various commercial establishments who sold there locations to them for a song..
Now many Galleries have moved to Chelsea leaving a few here.
I think for contemporary art two of the best Galleries remain.
Louis K. Meisel on Prince street (just off West Broadway) ,and OK Harris (on West Broadway).
These two dealers not only have fantastic looking Galleries, but great art. They both are and seem to have been from the start: instinctively showing the best, and most interesting art. They chose to remain.
In addition one can shop till you drop. Many Galleries have sold, and both boutiques stores, and name brand stores are in their place.
This Includes Apple, and many others that are nationally known.
In addition you can go to several Museums in the area.
This is be a great area to spend some quality time.
I personally wish I lived here.

“My favorite part of NYC”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

There is absolutely everything here. I love the vibe of the artsy, bohemian feel on the streets surrounded by classic New York buildings. There is a small neighborhood feel here which is completely charming, but don't be fooled, you'll find world class restaurants, music, galleries, shopping and more here. Keep your eyes peeled, you'll literally bump into people you recognize, then you'll have to rack your brain and search google backwards and forwards to figure out who it was and where you know them from ~ and then sometimes you'll just know. It is completely unpretentious and authentically cool.

“Classic New York, beautiful.”
Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

The stores and boutiques are to die for, not to mention the fantastic restaurants and cafés. The stores are rather expensive, but worth it. The restaurants are delicious and relatively inexpensive, depending on where you go. But from my experience, the boutiques are great, the food is fresh, and the restaurants are clean. I highly recommend it.

“It used to be itneresting....”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Now it's become one big shoping mall. I've lived in NY for years and SoHo used to be a bit different and quirky....may as well be in the suburbs these days.
