Owner description: Fashionable neighborhood (so named because it is a TRIangle BElow CAnal Street) of homes and shops.

As a NYer, this is one of the great walking neighborhoods. Much to explore and great old architecture. Get lost and enjoy!

Interesting area of Manhattan for walking and dining a little less touristy than other areas. Take a look for yourself!

Its a neighborhood where you have to be super rich to live or shop there but must appear non-materialistic, casual and artsy like the people who originally made SOHO and TRIBECA what they were. In other words SOHO and TRIBECA are to art what Ralph Laurent is to cowboys.

Tribeca was a mostly light industiral neighborhood discovered a long time ago. So now its mostly expensive loft apartments, trendy cafes and the like, but it still retains some old, unpolished NY, and a wide diversity of people.

We did a short stroll and could see the upcoming potential of the area despite lots of construction going on at the moment. There are some great eating options too. Lovely loft style buildings to admire too
