Unless you are just walking by, there is not much to see here. They don't have tours and not a lot on display. The bible Washington took his oath on and the balcony floor he stood on are really all that is worth seeing. As a History buff, It was dissappointing to me.

Awesome to see the Washington bible, and the building. Worth the walk, go to Fraunces Tavern afterwards for more Washington history.

Historically, the location is interesting but the building itself is not the original building that stood here when Washington gave the first inaugural address. However, it is cool inside, the exhibits can be interesting, it is free, and there are bathrooms, I think downstairs, that are clean and very handy.Worth a stop if you are wondering Wal Street.

I had walked by Federal Hall on Wall St a couple of times in previous years, but never went in. Checked it out on this visit, and was a little disappointed. The exhibits are interesting, but not very sophisticated. I love history and enjoyed learning more about the first seat of the U.S. government, but even so, only stayed about 20 minutes. That was long enough.

We were following an NYC sights tour app, and it gave great info on the Zenger freedom of speech ordeal in the 1700's and the Wall Street bombing from the early 1900's (which happened right in front of Federal Hall). And, of course, Washington was inaugurated here as well. It's all free!
