Location is great however deceiving listing, we booked a single bed room and a double however double means one king bed...
Hvac is a ceiling mounted unit and can’t be adjusted as air flow so you may find it blows straight in your face
Overall great location and friendly staff
Continental breakfast is average
Just two clothes hangar per room
Single queen is very small, king bed room sold as double is more reasonable
Ok for short visit

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your feedback, we always appreciate guest input. We're glad you appreciated so much about our hotel and hospitality.
All the concerns you had though could have been resolved had you only asked. A Double room in general hotel language around the world is 1 double bed. we have other rooms named 2 Double Bed, maybe that confused you. We put 2 lovely wooden hangers in each closet, and have many available upon request had you only asked. The Air Conditioning system we use is very sophisticated, you can control the temperature, fan strength and direction from the wall mounted controller. Our continental breakfast usually gets high marks as we offer a lot more than a typical continental breakfast, but it is not a full breakfast.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is right next to the theaters, Times Square, subways and Central Park (jogged to the park each morning). We used this hotel as our jumping off point for trips all over Manhattan and even to Long Island. The room was large and included a kitchenette. The bathroom was roomy with an extra-large shower.

Everything about this hotel and its location was convenient. In addition to planning for the big touristy items, if we needed something quickly (groceries, water, convenience items), all were in close proximity and easily obtained.

The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. We loved seeing the same faces on a daily basis.

We stayed 3 nights and would definitely return. The staff were excellent and seemed genuinely friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent - just a couple blocks from Times Square, and 4 blocks north of the metro station on 42nd. We ate dinner at two of the restaurants there on Restaurant Row and were happy with both meals.

The rooms are comfortable, large bathroom and shower, and the place has lots of character. Breakfast is served on the mezzanine level with a translucent roof, so it is bright with lots of plants. Lots of choices: pastries, muffins, croissants, hard boiled eggs, juice, yogurt, cereals. The room had a fridge, and a cooktop (which we didn't use).

Stayed for 6 nights to see New York. Very well located, right by Times Square, lovely room (we had the two bedroom apartment) and very friendly helpful staff.
In spite of location, quiet at night and fantastic air conditioning and Wifi throughout.
Highly recommend

This could quite possibly be one of the quaintest hotels I’ve stayed in. We arrived on the 4th July for one night after a flight mix up and our original hotel couldn’t accommodate us-I’m so glad they couldn’t!
The prettily decorated (French themed) room with kitchenette was perfect-comfy beds, plenty seating, comfy cushions, good air con and a shower big enough to have a party in. The towels were fresh and not worn thin.
Complimentary self serve breakfast was provided and fitted the bill.
The hotel is nearby Times Square and a short walk from several restaurants although I’d highly recommend Bourbon Street, attached to the hotel.
All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and polite.
I’d have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel and I hope we can return at some point.
