After exhaustive research I chose Radio City Apartments as I needed a place to stay with my two adult children.... that is.... I needed three separate beds but didn't want to pay for two separate rooms! I booked a one bedroom apartment which had two double beds and a fold out sofa bed in the living room and it was perfect for our needs. Comfortable and right there for shopping, restaurants, theatre, Central Park, Rockefeller Centre and more. I would probably have preferred to stay in a less *touristy* area, but hotels that offer what this one does for the price are seemingly impossible to find! Very happy with the room, value for money, location and staff. Thank you! ;-)

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location was fabulous (just off Times Square and a subway line on the corner). The room and kitchen appliances were spotless. We brought some home-prepared meals with us so we wouldn't have to purchase every meal in the city. We parked in the garage immediately behind the hotel on 48th street (the hotel provided a coupon that lowered the daily rate from $50 to $25) then travelled by subway or foot. The A/C units were a bit on the noisy side for my taste but overall it was alright for our family: I preferred to sleep with the window open listening to NYC life in one room while my daughter slept soundly in the other listening to the A/C. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We were in room 1111. A one bedroom with 2 double beds and a pull-out sofa in the living room area...

We stayed here once before for just a night and on our vacation to New York this year decided to stay the entire week in the Radio City Apartments. We were in a one bedroom which had plenty of room, very comfortable, nice and quiet. The bathroom was a bit small but functional and it wasn't a problem. The location was perfect for everything we needed to do - theaters, restaurants that we enjoy, and other attractions that we enjoy going to. ?Very close to subway stations and grocery store. The rates were wonderful and the staff was friendly, professional and courteous and helpful. I'm pretty sure that as we continue our tradition of going to New York every year for a vacation, we will make sure to book at the Radio City Apartments. Be sure to ask for a non smoking room if that is a concern because it appears they have both. We did have a couple of questions and the person at the front desk was very helpful.

Thank you very much.

Room Tip: If you are more desirous of quiet, request an apartments in the back of the building.

Stayed here the first weekend in May 2014 for an anniversary trip. Great location, maybe a block from Times Square. Short walk to the 49th Street metro and the 47th–50th Streets – Rockefeller Center Metro. Very close to other attractions, i.e. Empire State Building, Central Park, Radio City Hall.

The apartment was spacious enough for my husband and I. It included a full bath and kitchenette, (stove, fridge, microwave). We cooked breakfast to save on eating out. Also there was a small table with two chairs to sit and eat. Food Emporium is a few blocks away (8th Ave).

The room was clean. Fresh towels were delivered daily and the staff would fix the bed and remove trash. Some travelers mention smoking rooms, but I did not notice the smell of smoke.

We were on the twelfth floor, but we could still hear some noise from the street, but it did not keep us up at night. You can't really complain about noise when you visit the "city that never sleeps".

The front desk staff was helpful when we asked for assistance.

Con: The bed was a litter harder than what I am used to, and I would liked to have more pillows.
Also there was no way to control the temp in the room. Sometimes it was a little warm, but we were out most of the time so we were able to deal with it.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Will definitely stay here again if we return to NYC.

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend who lives in NYC. We had a deluxe studio apartment, 2 double beds and a kitchenette. The room was spacious by Manhattan standards. Although we were on the 2nd floor, we were in the back, and the room was very quiet. The staff was courteous and helpful. They have laundry that guests can use after 9PM (very helpful since we were in NYC for over a week). You just can't beat the location. 49th between 6th and 7th. Step out the door and you're steps away from Radio City, Times Square, Rockefeller Center.

We will stay here again when we return.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back.
