On our last visit to NYC, we were staying at the Bentley , near 59th Street . Every morning we would set out for Tal's Bagels( I've already reviewed) and on the second morning my husband noticed a patisserie on the corner a couple of doors down from Tal's. We had been increcibly spoiled last spring when we were in the south of France, but thought let's give it a go. Oh , my, were we delighted. Every piece of decadent sweets you could ever imagine and if they looked grand , they tasted even better. Every bit as good as in France! Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse cakes, decandance! There are several locations in the town. I am sure each one is as good as the one on First Ave near 53rd Street. Don't miss it!
