My daughter and I stayed here from 20th April 2012 to 25th and although we arrived 2 hours before our room was allocated we were allowed to go up as it was ready. The reception staff were really helpful and gave us a map and told us where the subway was.
As someone else said, we too were a little dubious when we saw it for the first time and worried about the location but it was so easy to get to and from as the subway is lterally 2 mins walk.
The bed and the pillows were soft and comfortable the area was quiet at night and we had a room overlooking Sara Roosevelt Park but not high enough to see the Brooklyn Bridge unfortunately. We would recommend this hotel very highly for those on a tight budget who do not want to be in the middle of all the noise and bustle of the city.More
