I had the lovely opportunity to do the Brooklyn Food Tour with Laurie our guide who is full of knowledge about the sights and history of New York. I think this tour ranks up there with the most memorable things I have done in the city. We met at the institution of New York downtown cafes at The Cornelia Street Cafe and made our way to Russ and Daughters to taste Jewish pastry. The tour gave us a taste of the diverse cultures of Brooklyn.
The organisers were very professional and were courteous enough to confirm my last minute booking. I would highly recommend anyone who visits New York to do this tour, you get your moneys worth. Tip: Come on an empty stomach.More
