The view, the food and the overall experience were outstanding! The only critic, if any, was the staff. The hostess treated us like third class citizens because we were not staying in the hotel, even though half the lounge area was unoccupied. We saw one server in the first 30 mins, and had to flag one down to order. But besides that it is a great spot.

I have been at the Lobby Lounge several times and each time is a delight. I usually we for coffee/cappuccino during the day and drinks at night. Each time the service is up to Mandarin Oriental standard, which is excellence. The coffee is one of the best in the city, and the drinks are good and strong. What makes the place is the view (on central park/columbus circle) and the atmosphere which is polite, quiet and tasteful. I would recommend and will return next time i'm in New York.

This is a spot to watch the New York world go by. Incredible views, great drinks and top notch service.

We went for cocktails and a snack after a Broadway show. Delicious Manhattans and sliders!!! View from lounge was pretty nice but since you are only overlooking Central Park which has little lights on the paths and Columbus Circle which is just a traffic roundabout, there's not much to see at night. Also, the CNN sign was blaring in our faces!

I would recommend a daytime cocktail since you can then enjoy the views of both the Park and the Circle when there is more action going on.

The view of Central Park is amazing. Make a reservation of you would like a window view - always reserved. Great for meetings. Service varied. Had to ask twice for coffee. Delicious lunch - small servings.
