Description: Located in the heart of SoHo, Hundred Acres offers a welcome respite for guests to enjoy a simple, delicious meal in a casual environment. Hundred Acres presents rustic American cuisine, crafted daily based on the market's freshest selections. Whether a salad of market vegetables served in a large wooden bowl or a grilled pork steal. Equally as affordable as the menu itself, Hundred Acres' wine program and selection of American micro-brews, served in 20 oz. bottles, complete the restaurant's accessible nature and sense of community.

Went into this unique looking restaurant with its open to the fresh air front walls. It was a beautiful spring day so this was a welcome treat. We had delicious appetizers that hit the spot and the bartenders, who were very friendly, made some tasty drinks-the sparkling acres.

This restaurant has a new name... SHUKA. The food was excellent. I loved all of the flavours. The service was fast and friendly. I love the semi outdoor patio. If you are in soho I would suggest you drop by here for lunch or dinner.

I was hungover and in a terrible mood. My friend was coming into the city for brunch on the A C E, and I am on the 4 5 6... it seemed like we were destined to be subway cars passing in the night (Eastside Westside rivalry for non locals). And brunch reservations can be impossible.

We were able to get into hundred acres, a recommendation from another friend. The menu for bunch, although not huge, covered savory and sweet, and was reasonably priced. I went with the poached egg and barley bowl, which made me feel healthy even if I followed that up with sticky buns.

Pro tip: sticky buns for dessert!

We ordered the Mediterranean Plate and the Fattoush Salad both of which was superb and reasonably priced. Rachel our server was excellent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit. One note, this is Meditrrranean cuisine not Latin American.

After an all day conference that our 14 year old daughters attended in SOHO, we had reservations for 5:45 on a Saturday night at Hundred Acres. There were 16 of us including a 5 and 8 year old and 2 grandmothers. Most folks in the group had never had Middle Eastern cuisine and were a little leary at first. The family with the 2 youndg children left after drinks and an appetizer because they felt like there were not good dinner options for their children. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The Google description is misleading: Seasonal American home cooking, including brunch, served in a country setting with a back garden. This is definitely not American Home Cooking so check out the menu before you go. The fattoush salad with fried halloumi cheese is out of this world! Our waitress was patient and fantastic with our group. It did take a while to get our order and food, but this was probably due to the size of our group.
